About LouAnne Taylor

Booklicious.net was founded by LouAnne Taylor. LouAnne is a Mother, Wife, and part time media specialist in the library at a public school in Wyoming.

LouAnne's love for books started when she was just a child. LouAnne's parents made literacy a priority in LouAnne's life, as well as the lives of her 4 other siblings. The youngest of 5 children, LouAnne spent much of her childhood reading outside. Her older siblings - John, Benjamin, Corrine and Suzy - were her mentors in the world of education. Both Benjamin and Corrine loved reading, and would pass down books to LouAnne when they were done reading them. LouAnne excelled at reading in school, due to the fact she needed to be able to keep up with the reading levels that her older siblings were working on.

When LouAnne gradated high school from Sheridan High School, she knew she wanted to pursue a college education. LouAnne attended Eastern Wyoming College and graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree in Education. She then went on to the University of Wyoming where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education, with a minor in Early Childhood Education.

It was shortly after LouAnne entered the University of Wyoming that she met her future husband, Conner. After LouAnne graduated, her and Conner got married. LouAnne has been working as a library aid, and in more recent years, as a media specialist, at the library.

In 2002, LouAnne and Conner welcomed their first child, KellyAnne, and in 2011, their second child, Dakota.

In addition to reading and writing, LouAnne loves working in her garden and singing in her church choir.
